10 Spode Luncheon Plates
10 Spode Luncheon Plates
These delicate blue and gold Copeland Spode luncheon plates have a gorgeous fleur-de-lys pattern, which was first introduced in 1852, and was produced in several different colour ways. The fleur-de-lys is a stylised portrayal of an iris, long used to symbolise French royalty and nobility.
These plates are in the same design as the gold Spode dinner service that Stephanie’s mother loves at Lalande, but in the prettiest blue. They’re perfect for elevating a simple breakfast or lunch!
These plates date from the 1910s. This gorgeous blue version of the plates was discontinued in the 1970s.
